We’re retiring the Fused Student Referrals service by August 2025 and know you may have questions about what this means for you and your agency.

We’ve made the decision to retire our Fused Referrals service on 31st August 2025.

Fused Referrals has been an important part of our partner offering, and we’re grateful for the trust you’ve shown in referring your student tenants. However, with shifts in the bills-inclusive market and fewer customers using the service, it’s no longer commercially viable to continue.

As we focus on new areas of growth, our priority is to ensure a smooth and clear transition for our partners.

When will the portal close?

After the 31st of August, the portal will close and no new referrals or new partner agreements will be accepted.

Can I still submit new referrals until the closed date?

We’ll continue to accept referrals submitted up until 31st August 2025. If any of those tenancies run into 2026, we’ll still honour the full package and pay full comission to your and your agency.

Commission payable

Your and your agency will still earn full commission due for any referrals that successfully sign up before 30th September 2025.

What will I see in my final commission statement

Your final commission statement will be issued in October 2025 which will include the total amount commission due.

All remaining commission due after 31st August will be prepaid in full in that statement.

There will be no monthly commission payments beyond this point.
