Here’s how our Unlimited Energy service works
Unlimited Energy (sometimes called uncapped energy) is a game changer for house shares. Here’s a rundown of how it works, and why all Fused packages come with this service as standard.

Pay your bill each month

Use all the energy you need

…That’s literally it
It’s a bit like an unlimited phone contract. And, unlike a traditional capped package from a supplier, you’ll never never get a bill for “overuse” at the end of your contract.
WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE
What’s the difference between Unlimited Energy and a capped energy deal from a supplier
-
With a traditional supplier, you pay for every unit of energy you use, based on the tariff you sign up for. This is called a capped energy deal.
-
With Unlimited Energy, you pay the same every month, with no usage limits to go over or under.
-
This means you don’t get a bill at the end of your package, because there’s no limit to go over.
-
And like an unlimited mobile deal, or an all you can eat buffet, you don’t get money back at the end if you don’t use a certain amount of energy.

Why students love Unlimited Energy

It’s like an unlimited mobile contract. Super convenient.
You can “pay as you go” with a supplier, or you can get Unlimited Energy and know you’re always covered.
No falling out with housemates.
Even if they love a long hot bath with all the lights on and the heating full blast.
No charges for “over using” energy. Ever.
You're not paying for your usage, you’re paying for a service that means you can stop thinking about your usage.
No freezing in winter.
With Unlimited Energy you don’t need to be like the 52% of students who avoid putting the heating on to save money in winter. (Save the Student)
