Happy World Environment day!

With the current lockdown rules, the environment has never been more our friend! Going from our 1-hour daily exercise to unlimited exercise, picnics in the park and family BBQs - the environment is the common factor that links all of these together! So we should look after it, right?

A little bit of background...

World Environment Day is the most recognised day for raising environmental actions and has been celebrated across the globe since 1974; to provide insights and focus on urgent environmental issues to whole entire countries all the way down to the average person e.g. YOU! Every year there is a theme to the day, with 2020 taking focus around biodiversity due to the topical subjects of bushfires in Australia at the end of last year as well as the current global pandemic. Is nature really sending us a message?

What can WE do?

Here at Fused, we have partnered with suppliers to only provide 100% renewable energy within our packages, to make the right choice the easier choice! We provide the most budget-friendly energy and come out cheaper compared to our competitors who provide the traditional fossil fuel-based energy.

What is renewable energy?

It is the energy that is collected from renewable resources (solar, wind, wave etc..) and has the benefit of reducing carbon emissions and other pollutants in the atmosphere!

What are fossil fuels?

Fossil fuels are the traditional energy sources e.g. coal and natural gas. They have negative impacts on the environment and are claimed to be the main reason for global warming! (so yes, we need to stop using them! Fast!)
